Today we started week 2 of the Couch 2 5K program. Starting with a 5 minute walking warm-up, then alternating 90 seconds of jogging with 2 minutes of walking for 20 minutes. It feels so good knowing I'm staying dedicated to the plan. I usually get bored and lazy by week 2 or 3 of a workout plan but I was actually looking forward to coming home and putting on my sneakers tonight. The stitch in my side isn't as bothersome as before but I am noticing a little pain in my left knee and shins. I think I may need a new pair of shoes. My Nikes have seen better days but overall I feel great. Plus, it helps that my hubby is doing it with me. 5k here we come!
